Aside from the shroud that is being made out of a cheap plastic lets address the main bad thing about this card. Just for test purpose: When rendered e.g Classroom which is not even heavy scene, right of the bat, Junction temperature goes to 98C and hot spot to 89C-100C and my case has plenty of airflow. The same with Unigine Heaven-4.0.... instant 100C junction temperatures and 90 Hot spot. This card going back where it came from. Update: Replacement runs cooler, but now if you are in quiet environment you can hear it that one of the fans making buzzing sound opposed to the firs card that was dead silent, it sounds like the bearing is already acting up. I will give another try, but I think ASUS has some issues with their products QC. Update#2 I didn't want to give up on this card so I got the 3rd replacement today and I'm happy to say, this one runs quiet and cool none of the issues from previous 2 cards exists I should have gotten this card to begin with and the back and forth replacements could have been avoided. I have to give Amazon huge applause, they made the replacement process a breeze.
