laptop has a vinyl-type overlay covering most of the surfaces probably to hide blemishes, scratches, etc. Microsoft Edge annoyingly cannot be removed from startup. Battery life is not much better than the 11-year-old Lenovo laptop I replaced with this one. Seems to get warmer than my old Lenovo.

Amazing bargain. Backlit keyboard. 5th gen i5 is a bit outdated but four threads is awesome for dev/Linux/etc. 1600x900 screen but I plan on upgrading that. Only thing that sucks is there’s only one ram slot. So I have to get a single 16GB stick to max it out since 4 is soldiered to the board. Also has an m.2 2242 slot but from what I can tell you can’t boot from it. Good storage option though.

This is the laptop I carry with me everyday. Have good amount of RAM and decent SSD storage. It's a very quiet and quick machine on which I have Manjaro MATE desktop. I didn't care that it doesn't have touchscreen but I am little disappointed that it's display isn't that bright or 1080 P as it was stated! I would definitely be interested in a little more powerful refurbished Lenovo gaming Laptop (I7 Processor, Nvidia graphics and 1080 P screen).

This was a fast, solid computer when I got it 3 weeks ago. Everything was running great and would have gotten 5 stars. The Windows 11 7/17/2023 update rendered the WIFI inoperable. I was on the phone with Lenovo tech support for the better part of an hour trying various fixes. He concluded that the Windows update damaged the WIFI adaptor. I returned the computer. My previous Lenovo laptop was messed up by a Lenovo BIOS update. I'm going with a different brand for my next laptop.
